HOW OUR BEFRIENDING SERVICE HELPS
Loneliness and isolation can have a significant impact on your wellbeing. Our Befriending Service is designed to bring people together through meaningful connections. We carefully match customers who feel isolated with trained volunteers we call Befrienders, who offer regular companionship and support.
REFERRALS
Referrals for Revival customers can only be made through Adult Social Care, so we’re unable to accept self-referrals. The service is available to existing Revival customers in Stoke-on-Trent only and is not currently open in Derby. We also accept referrals for our Staffs Housing customers through our Staffs Housing staff members.
BECOME A BEFRIENDING VOLUNTEER
If you have some spare time and want to make a real difference to someone else’s life, befriending is a rewarding way to support your community. By volunteering, you can help reduce loneliness and isolation while building meaningful relationships with the people you support. You will also gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and be part of a supportive volunteer team.
